The Intermediate Engineer will report to the Lead Project Engineer at the client based Western Canada site. This role will be a Project Manager for one mid-size project to address several different deficiencies in an existing water treatment system, such as DGF piping, flocculant pump, site glass installation, samplers, filters, etc.
The position is in a secondment role working directly under the care and control of Rally’s client. Work can be executed remotely – it is not necessary to commute to the client facility on a daily basis. Occasional travel (2-5 days per month) to the client site is expected.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:- Engineering project management.
- Structural design coordination of heavy industrial facilities and highway structures.
- Establishing project priorities and defining project objectives, scope and preliminary budgets.
- Identifying and obtaining preliminary design information (i.e. topographic, geotechnical, right-of-way, etc.).
- Managing design costs, scope and schedule.
- Managing project stakeholders including support coordination with regulators to obtain required permits.
- Coordinating with construction staff to provide field support and timely reviews of submissions from contractors.
- Manage project schedule commitments, coordinate deliverables and interface with project members and disciplines.
- Duration: anticipated to start August 1; initial term of 14-months with possibility of extension.
- Schedule: anticipated work schedule is 40-hours / week, Monday to Friday.
Qualifications - Education, Skills and Experience:- Civil or Industrial Engineering Degree through an accredited post-secondary institution.
- P. Eng. Preferred; PMP an asset.
- 5-15 years experience with industrial water treatment systems.
