Int. I&E Technologist/Designer
We are seeking a motivated self-starter and team contributor to join our Sarnia office.
The successful candidate brings 5+ years progressive experience, within an EPCM / industrial plant environment, are committed to delivering fit-for-purpose approaches and designs, and have demonstrated experience / proficiency with:
- Prepare key deliverables for projects (CWPs, material requisitions, installation details, schematic and wiring diagrams, loop drawings, instrument layouts, cable schedules, electrical layouts, control narratives, Cause & Effect diagrams, etc.).
- Prepare design calculations (e.g. voltage drop and cable sizing, cable tray loading, conduit fill, electrical heat tracing, valve sizing, etc.).
- Interface between internal and external engineering disciplines and project personnel to ensure timely and accurate information per Company, regulatory, and Client standards / specifications.
- Demonstrated knowledge of instrumentation best practices and applications.
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of Canadian Electrical Code and Ontario Electrical Safety Code; knowledge of other regulatory and industry codes / standards an asset.
- Experienced with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
- An ability to work independently or as part of a multi-discipline team.

Required - Technology Diploma through an accredited post-secondary institution.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driver’s abstract for project-related travel.
