Intermediate / Senior Mechanical Engineer

WHAT YOU BRING
We are seeking a professional with 5-15 years’ progressive engineering experience, within an EPCM / industrial plant environment, to perform conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering design in accordance with project execution plans:

  • Provide leadership, guidance and support on technical issues (mentor more junior engineers / designers)
  • Coordinate with Client to ensure timely receipt and delivery of information
  • Prepare reports / estimates (e.g. man-hour estimates, deliverable lists, discipline lead status reports)
  • Prepare key deliverables (e.g. P&IDs, CWPs, MRs, pipe stress reports, HVAC design) and ensure conformance to established standards throughout project stages (e.g. scoping studies, detailed design)
  • Define engineering scope of work and monitor schedule, costs, quality (e.g. key drawings, design concepts)


KEYS FOR SUCCESS
  • Motivated self-starter and team contributor
  • In-depth experience with design of one or more types of industrial equipment – e.g. vessels, tanks, pumps, compressors, materials handling, piping


REQUIRED
  • 4-year degree in mechanical engineering from accredited university
  • Registered with governing provincial body
  • Engineering stamp
