Rally was asked to complete engineering to replace the loadout structure to ensure the ongoing safe operation of the conveyors. As part of the design, a DBM was completed on a full restoration of operation to the facility to include larger bin storage capacity, a new control room and upgrade of the existing facility, ensuring that should the Client decide to reinstate loadout unit to full operation if desired. The design would need to ensure that ongoing operation of the conveyor transfer points would not be interrupted.
During construction of the new facility, Rally provided engineering support to construction. These services included RFI and home-office support, review of shop drawings, on-site field engineering, as well as planning and scheduling services throughout construction. Upon completion, Rally conducted inspections of the work for completeness and redlined and as-built the structure.
