Project Overview

The client’s air conditioning unit in its main Administration PABX Server Room required upgrading in order to improve cooling and reliability. The existing A/C units were replaced with two 100% capacity units that were specified and purchased by the client. In addition, the server room A/C units located at the main security gate also required upgrades. The existing A/C units were replaced with two (2) permanent split-type A/C units. This required electrical and HVAC design modifications to accommodate the new units.

Scope of Work

Demolition of the existing mechanical and electrical HVAC system and installation of the new units, as well as installation of a new control panel and associated electrical, communications, and associated components. A new fire damper, new piping, and foundation and steel bases for the new HVAC units were completed as well.

U2 Coker Cabins

The makeup air (MUA) units on top of the U2 coker at the Client’s site were at the end of their serviceable life and needed to be replaced. Rally completed detailed engineering for the installation of the new units. Rally provided engineering packages in line with industrial type project execution standards, as opposed to conventional HVAC commercial projects, to minimize the risk of rework and delays during the field execution. Emphasis was placed on field visits by all disciplines to ensure that detailed engineering was as correct and complete as possible.
